Embracing Our Differences (EOD) Sarasota, FL, is one such organization. EOD brought to St. Petersburg, FL, for the first time in 21-years, their juried art exhibition that consists of billboard-sized panels with art and quotations that capture the essence of the human experience without borders. The 48th Annual St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society world-fair 2023 was an opportunity to represent African American life and culture. We created a 'village' filled with 20 story boards about little-known people and events that celebrate Black Excellence and Life, called 'Gallery of Knowledge. The Gallery will eventually become available here on our website exclusively for use in scholarship endeavors.
What a night to remember! Thanks to everyone who shared space with us. See you again in December 2024, if not before, of course!
