In addition to our use of a timeline of pivotal historical events in American History that have informed and shaped the social order of the nation, we also offer facilitated instruction on interpersonal relationships. We believe that understanding basic human characteristics that are common to ALL people helps to foster better social engagement. These skills and knowledge can help students and lifetime learners alike to be more empathetic and accepting of human differences. The programs are excellent stepping stones toward higher education.
PERSONALITY TYPE ASSESSMENT: Using our own in-house personality type curriculum, we deliver a powerful two-hour, highly interactive, fun-filled session for groups with participants aged 14+. Participants learn 'what makes them tick' as an individual on a daily basis, and in times of distress. Participants are challenged to be introspective about themselves and others in their circle of family and friends. This course prepares learners for more focused conversations about race and race relations.
